Print Production Generalist

Position Location: Oaks, PA

Position Summary:

The Production Generalist is must be able to step into any print production role to support or fill in as needed.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Required knowledge in Prepress PDF workflow for digital printing environment.
  • Must have Digital printing experience, (preferable on Xerox but not required).
  • Production Associates - Required knowledge of PDF workflow and associated graphic technologies.
  • May suggest alterations or design changes to the customer as necessary. Once the document is received.
  • Binding and Finishing – Required to know or learn how to operate all bindery equipment at a competent level.
  • Fulfillment and Hand Assembly must have the capability to remain focused on critical detail assembling and collating critical coded items into books.
  • Shipping and Receiving – Will be required to learn all aspects of shipping preparing labels packaging.
  • Support the Print Technician, Perform all duties required to keep a steady flow of materials ready for print production.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
  • Two or more years experience in a high volume copy or print shop.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus.
  • Microsoft Office, and Desktop publishing and computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Strong Verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong PC aptitude.
