Sales Associate

Position Location: Malvern, PA

Position Summary:

Seeking a Sales Associate for proprietary clinical trial software and services to work in our Malvern, PA headquarters. You MUST leave nearby. The Sales Associate is responsible for identifying new prospective clients, entering them into the CRM if not already therein, and using phone-email to establish initial contact on behalf of DSG. Contact qualification (inside sales) leading to participation in the entire sales cycle (outside sales) potentially leading to a full outside sales position representing DSG.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent DSG nationally and internationally with regard to sales and account development
  • Accompany Sales on Web and face presentations and prospect/client visits
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from management, established customers, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, web sites and other sources
  • Prepare and send personalized emails to prospective customers
  • Prepare and host client documentation audits and experience responding to audit report/findings
  • Contact prospects
  • Participate in the assumptions gathering, preparation and submission of formal proposals
  • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospect contacts
  • Attend trade shows

As a successful candidate, you meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science
  • Some form of sales experience preferred or demonstrated strong ambition to learn
  • Superior interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong PC aptitude
  • Tenacity, assertiveness and desire to succeed
